Oatman Architects, Inc. is a design collaborative founded in 2009, specializing in the design of distinctive residential and hospitality projects around the world.

HOMER OATMAN, AIA

PRINCIPAL

Homer Oatman has been involved in the design and construction of custom residential projects for over 35 years. His work has been featured in Veranda, Architectural Digest, California Homes Magazine, and the Huffington Post. In 2009 he founded Oatman Architects, Inc, specializing in the design of distinctive residential and hospitality projects around the world.

LAURA OATMAN, AIA, LEED AP

PRINCIPAL

Laura Oatman, AIA, LEED AP is a principal at Oatman Architects, Inc. She and her husband, Homer, established Oatman Architects in 2009. Her career combines almost 40 years of experience in architectural design and development of high-end hospitality projects, including resort and urban hotels and spas.

"Homer Oatman was the first person we hired after purchasing our beautiful seaside lot in the Strand at Dana Point, CA. Homer helped us decide on the builder ,but more importantly he designed a magnificent home for us. The views in nearly every room were maximized to allow us to view the ocean and we were able to use nearly all of our lot. The home was perfectly positioned on the property to enhance the views and the ocean breezes. The attention to detail on the exterior and inside the house was outstanding. We have built ten houses in various parts of the United States and Homer is one of the best architects that we have ever hired. He was always respectful in expressing his professional opinion and he always did his homework on the details that made our home unique but true to the architectural style we had selected. He and his equally talented wife, Laura, who is also an architect made an outstanding team that we can strongly recommend to anyone building a new home in California."
